Pixie crash with basic displacement

Using version 2.2.2, win XP, with the basic displacement shader from here:

It crash using relatively hight Km values (in example, 0.1).

I don't see a crash on current SVN (r1169) running on Linux. Can you reproduce it with version 2.2.4?
Also, the render will appear corrupt--bits of the model will appear missing--unless you add this line before the ReadArchive call in crash.rib--the default displacement bounds don't work with the supplied sample. (This is true in both Aqsis and Pixie, though the artifacts look different in each.)
