Compilation error linux 1.5.2
Status: Beta

I wonder if you have come on this particular error ?
I'm trying to compile Pixie 1.5.2 but it freezes when
compiling file /src/ri/execute.cpp
I've tried it on two different systems ( debian, fedora
) and
it gives the exact same compilation problem !
There's no error from g++, just endless looping
compilation of
file execute.cpp

xoreaxeax, I think it is not an error. In I think it doesn't
freeze. It is simply that a processor below an Athlon 64 3,2
Ghz and a memory amount below 1 Gb ram (so we are talking
about a high-end machine) will elapse LOTS of time when
binding execute.cpp as well as stochastic.cpp.
My computer is an Athlon XP 1600+ 1 gb ram and it stood
showing that execute.cpp message for over 20 minutes!!!!

Hi,
I never actually replied to this bug,
but, as pixie_manz told,
compilation should succeed if you leave it
running long enough -- even though it's
painfully long
