Hello,
I have a strange problem with the network render feature
of Pixie (prebuild distribution 1.4.1 Win32) :
- I've a simple RIB file done with Ayam (a simple large
box 40*40*2 with some faces out of the viewing angle of
the camera):
- I got 2 PCs in LAN, one is a P4 2.6Ghz 1 Gb RAM with
Windows 2000 (let's call it PC1), the other is a P3 800
Mhz 512 Mb with XP (let's call PC2). No firewall are
enabled.
- I start the daemon on each PC.
- I execute on PC1 or PC2:
rndr -s IP1:PORT1,IP2:PORT2 MyRib.rib
Both computers work then when they finish their work
and I got some strange squares holes transparent on the
final image and therefore I can see behind the face of the
cube the hidden faces...
Note that if you reduce the size of the box, it works.
Note that if you use only 1 PC (anyone) it works
correctly...
I tried to another network and it works.
I tried other objects (spheres, etc...) and I don't have the
problem even in network render...
Any idea ?
Thank you a lot,
Regards,
Bruno.
