It would be nice to be able to control the player
colors (I'm very smitten with indigo) and the AI player
names. Sometimes, you just don't want to play against
Pikachu. Via the GUI would be best, but even just a
text file that could be edited, such as
"Player1=#6600CC" or whatever.

Some AI players have long names, which makes it necessary to have a wide left column. That is an unfortunate constraint and a good reason to implement this. Hard to fit another window next to the GUI now. It would also be nice to be able to edit an opponent's name (for your own presentation only) in a live match for the same reason.
