Easier to do for a game with only bot opponents? That would be nice.
Ideas for how it could work in a LAN game: Button/menu choice or so generates a save request to all players. If they all agree, the game is saved. Any bots auto-agree.
Probably good to restrict using this feature to the player that started the game and possible only on his/her turn to reduce risk of conflicting events.
