Version 1.2.0.1 released: interface window can be resized/repositioned and timestamp added
I've put the new version 1.2.0.0 of Ping GUI on my Dropbox account. If it's what you need and it's bug free I'll release it. From this new version (and onwards) I'll recommended the 64 bit as it doesn't have any false positives by anti-malware apps (as checked on Virus Total). Also to prevent false positives I've certified the executables with my Certum code signing certificate.
No problem. I'm not going to change much. I did some work, some rewritting of the code. For instance, the trace route feature wasn't working properly. And I've implemented your suggestion. But I won't be adding features that change the interface. When I have a (beta) version I'll notify in a post here.
Thanks for the consideration of the update, don't go too crazy on my account, timestamps would satisfy me. The big plus for this app is it has not got 50 features I don't need.
PingGui is quite an old app. My first using AutoIt as programming language. But looking at the code it isn't hard to add a date and time. So I'll try to make this feature. The time wouldn't accurately depict the (minor) milliseconds. But looking at your image that isn't what you're proposing. It would be certainly be accurate within a period of one second. For large ping delays as the 5 minutes seen in your image it might be useful to have an indication if PingGui is still "alive" and pinging. Perhaps...
Hi< was wondering if it would be possible to timestamp pings, kind of like I did in the pic. Thanks It is just great for me to see at a glance if everything is attached on the network, however I cant tell if what I'm seeing is recent, maybe the app stopped working and it is showing old data. Thanks I hope you will consider adding this feature sometime.
