I do not have access to a linux box at the moment so I can only verify that this builds on win32. Please DO NOT post comment about gaim already does logging, I know. You will need to run gaim-list.pl to convert any existing log to the new format, and it may take a while. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Ka-Hing Cheung (bsponline) Date: 2005-01-09 23:58 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=159910 This plugin is not maintained, it is deprecated, no one is using it (as far as I know), it is pretty much "merged" with the builtin logger in the sense that the build in on does everything that this plugin does. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Eduardo Pérez (eperez) Date: 2005-01-09 21:45 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=60347 Is this plugin still maintained? Is this plugin deprecated? Is anyone using it? Why not merge it with the builtin logger? Could you explain the features of this logger compared to the builtin? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Luke Schierer (lschiere) Date: 2004-06-27 18:38 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=28833 A new version of gaim has been released. It is likely that your plugin will crash in the new gaim. As per our standard policy, we are only including plugins that we write, being unable to maintain hundreds of plugins as we develop gaim, if you want to continue making your plugin available, please update your plugin and reopen it. If not updated, this will close in 14 days. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Ka-Hing Cheung (bsponline) Date: 2003-03-14 21:37 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=159910 Oh, I fixed it already, just didn't make a tarball and upload it. But then gaim doesn't put plugin menu in the blist yet, so you will need to go to the preference window to open the log. I will probably redo the logging this week or next to betterize it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Chris J. Friesen (darth_sebulba04) Date: 2003-03-14 21:29 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=491717 I just tried compiling this against the latest cvs and it breaks on one line: gtk_window_set_transient_for(GTK_WINDOW(log->dialog), GTK_WINDOW(blist)); (626) logging.c:626: `blist' undeclared (first use in this function) I don't know if your still patching this, but I thought I'd just let you know. I really like the way this plugin handles logging compared to the built in. Chris ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Ka-Hing Cheung (bsponline) Date: 2003-03-07 06:00 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=159910 Now it really doesn't use deprecated gtk1.2 function calls anymore. I think. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Ka-Hing Cheung (bsponline) Date: 2003-02-05 01:11 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=159910 Works with CVS once again. Also fixed a bug. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Ka-Hing Cheung (bsponline) Date: 2003-01-24 21:01 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=159910 BTW, the perl script to convert the log has been renamed to gaim-update-log.pl. I think that's a better name for it anyways. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Ka-Hing Cheung (bsponline) Date: 2003-01-22 03:26 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=159910 0.6 works again with cvs. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Ka-Hing Cheung (bsponline) Date: 2003-01-20 08:15 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=159910 ver 0.5 many changes, read the logging-ChangeLog in the tarball. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=390395&aid=666374&group_id=235 |
