The installer reports: "Pidgin (or another program incompatible with this installer) is running. [...]".

It took me some time to figure out that ALL GTK-based software has to be shut down and then it took me some time to come up with the fact that Workrave is a GTK application too.

The installer should check for something more specific.

Mine were Ekiga and GIMP.
