PMT is a great looking tool however I wonder if it is still being actively supported and developed.
The last released version shows a beta state and dates to September 27, 2001, more than one year old.
Please comment on what to expect in the future,
ie. support of new EXIF standard.

PMT is being actively supported and developed. There are reasons that it's been a while since the last official release, but notice that the MAIN branch has been active over recent months.
A new release is expected in the not too distant future, and that release will support the Exif 2.2 standard.
