We have done some preliminary analysis of mapping the C++ implementation to a JAVA implementation. However, we are concentrating our limited resources on getting the C++ implementation to the point of supporting enough of the metadata definition language (i.e., XML Schema) to allow for the parsing and interpretation of the DIG35 XML Schema. We expect to begin the JAVA work in earnest around Sept. 1st.

I've seen a couple of mentions of a Java implementation, but I can't find any information about it. Does it exist yet?
