The Pi3 public API's are C, even if the underlying
implementation is C++. The main reasons are ease of use and
portability. A pure object oriented variant based on design
patterns etc. is thinkable. Could you support this activities?

1. Design patterns should be used independent of the
implementation language. They can be applied to C and C++.

2. Can your software be dynamically configurated without a
restart of the server?
