#27 phpwslistings 0.3.1 install problem

I downloaded the file , then upload it to my server, I
extraced all of the files using cpanel and extract all files,
I renamed the folder phpwslistings 0.3.1 that was
created after the unzipping to phpwslistings. I went to
try and bring up the index.php from a browser and it
does not come up. what does come up is the index.html
of my web site. Did i forget to do something? please tell
me what I need to do. I am not very good with php. In
case you need to know I use cpanel with my hosting.
Let me know what I need to do.

Have you installed phpwebsite? If you get your index.html
page you should be getting the phpwebsite index.php page.
phpwslistings is a module for phpwebsite.

Hi all,

i get the same thing as well, after i install the listings mod
the index page is gone for the whole site and not just the
listings mod, if anyone has any idea i am all ears, BTW i
unzip at the local machine and FTP to the server
