Don, I don't think phpwsListings would make a great shopping cart, although if someone wanted to use it as a simple cart would work. Probably the best Open Source Shopping Cart out there is http://www.oscommerce.com . It has a huge userbase and can be set up rather nicely. I'm not sure if it could be made a module for phpws, but it would be something to work from. I've installed it numerous times testing it out and is great.
