The search module requires that you write a custom search function for it to call upon. You have full control over the results returned and should be able to handle checking the form elements properly in that function. Here is some limited documentation, let me know if you need more info: http://res1.stddev.appstate.edu/horde/chora/co.php/search/docs/README.txt Adam > The reason I didn't try to use the phpws search module and did it my self > was because I didn't think the core search module would know to look at > the form elements properly. > > If I'm wrong then by all means I'd love to use it if it does the sorting > etc like we wanted. > > Don. > > On Thu, 13 Mar 2003, Mike Windsor wrote: > >> Would it be possible to register phpwslistings with phpws Search Module? >> What I was wondering if it would do is; >> Register phpwsListings with phpws Search Module, phpwsListings has two >> classes(real estate and automobile), search for red cars in phpws search >> function. >> Will it return red automobiles, all automobiles, all listings from all >> classes or not work at all? >> >> >> >> Mike >> >> >> >> >> ------------------------------------------------------- >> This SF.net email is sponsored by:Crypto Challenge is now open! >> Get cracking and register here for some mind boggling fun and >> the chance of winning an Apple iPod: >> http://ads.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/redirect.pl?thaw0031en >> _______________________________________________ >> phpwslistings-developers mailing list >> php...@li... >> https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/phpwslistings-developers >> >> >> > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.net email is sponsored by:Crypto Challenge is now open! > Get cracking and register here for some mind boggling fun and > the chance of winning an Apple iPod: > http://ads.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/redirect.pl?thaw0031en > _______________________________________________ > phpwslistings-developers mailing list > php...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/phpwslistings-developers > -- Adam Morton Developer - Electronic Student Services http://phpwebsite.appstate.edu Founder - Appalachian Linux Users Group http://alug.appstate.edu |
