I recently installed phpwebsite 0.10.0 on my test server and migrated all of my production sites to it for testing. All has gone well with all of my non-phpwslistings sites released for 0.10.0. However, yesterday I downloaded a copy of phpwslistings v. 0.3.2 and installed it on my test system. The phpwebsite instance is v. 0.10.0 with all of the standard modules installed (I can't get a boost list as I'll explain in a moment). I am pretty confident that all that I have installed are: core modules and announcements, block maker, documents, FAQ, poll, admin stats, link manager, menumanager, module manager, web pages and form generator. I dropped phpwslistings into /mod, went into boost and installed phpwslistings. I received a successful install message, but cannot do anything with the site. If I browse to control panel, Firefox tells me it's loading and goes to done without changing the page. I tried browsing to index.php and get a blank page. I can browse to /admin and login, but as soon as I login my headings and menus are displayed, but no content pages.

Has anyone encountered similar problems as the result of an install? BTW: I encountered similar behavior with staffman, jobman and jobwantedman. I know that these modules have not been released for 0.10.0, but thought that I'd give them a try. I ran into boost install problems ( version check failure) which I addressed, but following each install, phpwebsite behaves the same as phpwslistings; i.e. not able to browse to any content pages.

As I type this I recall that I do have the 'super-hack' installed (mod-rewrite and embedded scripting ability). Other than that hack, this is a virgin copy of 0.10.0.

    Regards,
    jhawkinsvalrico.

The mod directory needs to be renamed phpwslistings, or it won't show up in the control panel, or work for that matter.

Phpwslistings is installed in /mod/phpwslistings and includes:
      /mod/phpwslistings/boost
      /mod/phpwslistings/class
      /mod/phpwslistings/conf
      /mod/phpwslistings/docs
      /mod/phpwslistings/img
      /mod/phpwslistings/inc
      /mod/phpwslistings/lang
      /mod/phpwslistings/templates
      index.php
      mortgage_calculator.php

As I said, boost sees the module phpwslistings and install displays a successfull install message, but after that I cannot do anything but login. When I attempt to follow any links, Firefox and IE indicate that they are loading the page and go to done without changing content.

      Regards,

Just to make certain that I had a completely virgin copy of phpwebsite 0.10.0 and phpwslistings 0.3.2 I downloaded the latest tarballs for sourceforge, and installed them.

I installed phpwebsite 0.10.0 which was successful and then installed phpwslistings 0.3.2 from boost. The installation results follow:

      All phpwsListings tables successfully written.
phpwsListings image directory /home/jhawkins/public_html/test/images/phpwslistings successfully created!
phpwsListings image directory /home/jhawkins/public_html/test/images/phpwslistings/agents successfully created!
phpwsListings image directory /home/jhawkins/public_html/test/images/phpwslistings/agencies successfully created!
      Checking language file for phpwsListings:
      * English language file installed

      ***** phpwsListings installation successful! *****

If I try to follow the Go Back link the page does not change.  If I try to follow the Home link in the Demo Menu the page does not change. If I try to follow the Home, Control Panel or Log Out links in the Hello Admin menu, the page does not change.

If I browse to /admin I get the login page and when I submit my administrative login, the login page remains displayed. This doesn't appear to be a browser issue as I get the same behavior from a remote system accessing with IE.

Prior to installing phpwslisting 0.3.2 via boost, phpwebsite acted fine.

      This test system runs:
      Fedora Core 2
      mysql 3.23.58-13
      php 4.3.9-3
      apache 2.0.52-3.1

I just wanted to pass this information along.

      Regards,
      jhawkinsvalrico
