My 2:30 meeting was postponed which gave me time to try another test. I don't know whether modules are causing the problem. I did another virgin install of just the core - added phpwslistings and the started installing modules that I hadn't tested before. I got through branch creator, debugger, link manager, module maker, photo albums, bulletin board, rrsnewsfeed. Rssnewsfeed gave me an error stating that it needed menu manager, so I decided to start installing the modules that previous were installed. I went down the list starting at the top from announcements, skipped comment manager and when I installed menu manager phpwebsite broke. Same behavior as before. As I stated in my previous message, menu manager installed on the previous test without a problem. I may have a problem with my system, or this isn't going to be an easy fix.
I've got some scripts setup that clean out and setup the test environment. It only takes a minute or so and I can be back running setup. Let me know if there are any tests that you'd like me to run. I'll have some free time late tonight and some open time tomorrow late morning.
Regards,
John.

Thanks for the tip. It's working fine after increasing memory up to 64M. I probably could have gotten by with a lower amount of memory, but what the heck, memory's cheap and I've plenty available.
Thanks,
John.

I've found that 12M is sufficient. phpwsListings is a memory hog currently. When I get a rewrite completed, this problem will go away. Glad the issue is resolved.

I think you need to increase your memory limit for php. Usually this is the cause of random errors.
