    hi,

after i uploaded my phpwebsite 0.9-3 (incl. phpwslistings 0.3.0) I'm not able to upload pics anymore.

I told my ISP to run the file "secure_phpws.sh". The permissions of my images directory are set to apache and group also apache permission is 775 -> is this the reason?

I think my ISP didn't run the script under my username -> could this effect the right permissions?

thx for all kind of help

    greets andy

      failure msg:
There was a problem uploading the image you specified. Check your permissions.

i am sure that i ran the scrips correctly. on my homeserver the site is working but on my isp's server the pic upload produces the above mentioned error.

is it possible that phpwslistings has a problem with php-version 4.3.3 ? on my homeserver i have php 4.3.1 and there it's working...

      anybody an idea ?

WHy dont you set the directory to 777 and see if it works then.  I have had a couple of instances where that was necessary.. You can do that with most FTP programs so that your ISP doesn't have to.

unfortunately not, my isp disabled chmod 777 ;)

i believe that the problem is not the permission settings.. my isp ran the secure scripts and all permissions exactly what i have on my homeserver.

don't know where the problem is .. i also checkt the phpinfo.php of both servers and it seems that both have the important modules and extensions installed (although i don't know for what some of them are )

my isp and i really don't know how to solve this issue..  my isp has apace 1.3.28 and i 2.0.48 but i don't believe that this is the problem

but thanks for your suggestion.. i will ask my isp to test it ;)

      best wishes
