Is order of listings DESC possible?

As wgsiv in a recent post without answers, I absolutely need to sort listings order by descending instead of ascending, because I have to show a list of books, and the first must be the last entry.

Is this possible?

I've passed days finding a solution, even with an ORDER BY id DESC in sqlselect, but without success (error 1064).

Can you help me?

  Unfortunately I have not found a solution.
  I hope in an answer by authors.
  I think the possibility to change ORDER BY is essential to consider phpwslistings useful in the greater number of situations.
