Problem 1:
Generated versions of index.php are missing comment
marks on this line:

Ignored. No IMAP support in this php. configure --with-imap

Causing a parse error in PHP.

Solution: add // to the beginning of that line.

Problem 2:

At approx line 278 in lib/config.php the line:

define('USE_PATH_INFO', ereg('\.(php3?|cgi)$',
$SCRIPT_NAME));

Should read:

define('USE_PATH_INFO', ereg('\.(php3?|cgi)$',
SCRIPT_NAME));

Note, $SCRIPT_NAME is not correct in that context.
