How do we submit themes we've been working on, for review and possible = submission in to the release of phpWS 0.9.x ??? "I think", I have most of the basics covered in this theme.. I know = their is still work to do, but I believe it is very usable... If anyone would like to take a look at it, send me an e-mail and I can = forward the link..=20 I don't have a internet accusable version of phpWs 0.9 open to the web = yet... so you would need to preview it on your system. Mike: Perhaps in a limited form. Hub-it proved to be a very good proof of concept for intra-site communication on which we wish to expand significantly. The current usage of the FatCat category module combined with the ability to identify related information dynamically will be extended to work across domains. We are currently examining the best ways of doing this and are seriously considering using SOAP: http://www.w3.org/TR/SOAP/ Kind Regards, Brian -- Brian W. I added a function to EZform to take care of images submitted via a form. It encorporates a few things discussed here: - Checks x-png, pjpeg, and other formats - uses move_uploaded_file function - returns image name with width and height - uses error class - checks sizes, writability of destination, etc. - unifies the saving process Take a look here. http://res1.stddev.appstate.edu/horde/chora/co.php/phpwebsite/core/EZform.php?r=1.11 Please reply if instructions are unclear in comments. Shalonda will be posting docs sometime this week on the docs branch. Soon I will be setting up a central docs directory that gets rebuilt nightly and contains all the documentation we have. It will be browsable from the web. As volunteers write new documentation, they can submit it to Shalonda and she will get it into cvs. Once in cvs the updated docs will get put into the central docs directory that night. Until that is setup, the best way to view docs is through chora: http://res1.stddev.appstate.edu/cvs/ Adam > On Mon, 2002-10-28 at 07:48, Adam Morton wrote: >> Attached is the "theme_creation.txt" file included in rc1 under the >> layout documentation. Hello All, I have added a new class to the core of phpwebsite. It is called PHPWS_Pager and it handles paging of data arrays. I had already implemented this functionality once before in my function paginateDataArray found in the Array.php file. The parameter list was getting sooooooo long we decided to extract it to its own class. This function will still exists for those using it (which includes me) but I strongly encourage everyone to starts using the new class. It gives the developer a lot more flexibility. For an example of its usage see the file pager_example in the docs/developers/ directory. Please post any questions you may have. Good news everyone! Steven and I finished up some documentation on how developers can use the PHPWS_Item and PHPWS_Manager classes to aid in module development. This document can be found in cvs in the phpwebsite/docs/developer/ directory: http://res1.stddev.appstate.edu/horde/chora/co.php/phpwebsite/docs/developers/ITEM_MANAGER_README.txt?login=2&r=1.1 I would suggest everyone who is developing for phpwebsite use these classes as they reduce the work load required to build a module by 50% and ,as an obvious side effect, it decreases the time required to develop a module. If you would like to see an example module that uses these 2 classes, check out the current cvs version of phatform. Steven and I will be happy to field questions about Item and Manager on this list. Enjoy! The goal there is to 'unhook' the core classes since the current inheritence structure really has no meaning. In the process I will be checking the usage of the PEAR DB package as well as other packages relied on in the core. Hello Matt, Ex.: What happens if I "Add to personal" (in the "Personal Settings" column= ) the "help-admin" module? I must admit I am a little confuse regarding these columns: Personal Settings | Deity Mods | Core Mods | Content Mods Would it be an idea to put besides each column's title a help function (?) to click on to get in deep advice on what are the differences between each = ? Then you would have: Personal Settings ? | Deity Mods ? | Core Mods ? | Content Mods ? or maybe... a legendary text below the menu that explains the differences: Personal Settings* | Deity Mods* | Core Mods* | Content Mods* Just an idea ;-) Yves le 2003/02/11 09:43, Matthew McNaney =E0 ma...@tu... a =E9crit=A0: > There is now a default file supplied with each module that indicates wher= e > it believes it should be filed in the user module listing. >=20 > This should help with the overwhelming confusion with the admin screen. >=20 > Also, if you have any suggestions to make the admin screen easier, please > post them. >=20 > thanks, > Matt >=20 |
