I have something along the same lines on http://www.nottingham.uk.net I
worked out the variables with a little experimentation and code reading.
If you want the code let me know and I'll mail it to you.

The next bit (when I get time to sit down and finish it) is a
thermometer that changes with the temperature... just need to sort out
the graphics.
