Hello,
Yep, the format is described in ICAO Annex 3. The items are mostly the same
as in the metar. The tafs can also be obtained at NOAA on this address:
("http://weather.noaa.gov/pub/data/forecasts/taf/stations/[station].TXT");
The problem here is that you can have several occurencies of the same group.
Eg. you can easily have 5 to 10 cloudgroups (this is a simple one: EKYT
250510Z 251206 23008KT 9999 SCT030 BKN180 BECMG 1618 BKN020 TEMPO 1803 5000
BKN012 TEMPO 0306 2000 -RADZ BKN004=)

Is there a standard format and location for obtaining weather forecast
information (as opposed to current weather conditions) for a specific
location?
If so, is this something that could be implemented within phpWeather?
