Possible to give the webUI any rights?

So I keep my VMs in a rights protected folder that I can't browse to from the webUI. I'm guessing the service has a user name that it runs as that I can grant rights to but I can't seem to find it.
EDIT
I figured it out, granting rights to the account specified in the config file worked, the admin:admin login for the portal threw me off course.
