future plans

To fuel your curiosity for the next versions, here's a plan of new releases which is more precise than the 2do file:

v0.2.5 will enhance the label printing function. This includes improved configurability of labels concerning max lines to fit on them and specification of details to put on as well as the capability of printing multiple labels at once. With G*D's help, this version will be available at the end of June, 2002.

v0.2.6 will start with list printings. I'm not sure of any details on this, just for one thing: the tables shall be designed in a way to fit on (multiple pages) of paper, repeating the table headers for each page.

v0.2.x (with x>6) then will mainly contain needed bugfixes and cleanups and almost no new features/functionality, so that we can head another gamma release (v0.3.0) soon.

v0.3.0 will be the result of the previous paragraph.

v0.3.x (with x>0) will then add most/all changes listed in the "coming *next*" block of the 2do file, resulting in another stable gamma release.

v0.4.0 will be the gamma release mentioned in the previous paragraph, and the first release candidate (v1.0.0RC1) at the same time - at least these are my thoughts and wishes today.

I can't promise anything (as usual) nor give a more precise time table, but I hope this will be the way phpVideoPro goes within the next months. So stay tuned!
