Hi folks, in the english language file was one phrase missing (just updated): INSERT INTO lang VALUES('hit_back_to_correct','en','Hit the "Back" button to correct the error.'); Thanx to Peter for pointing this out :) Please consider this item as well in your language files (CVS already up to date for English/German). </izzy> -- Itzchak Rehberg http://www.qumran.org/homes/izzy/ "Advance is the mother of problems." Hi Izzy, I've got technical question: what code page you'd like me to use for diacritical (national) characters. From german version I assume windows 1250, but what with users on others platforms? Is this automated or solved in any way? --- Leszek Boroch end: KISS! - Keep It Simple Stupid! This is done if you set it up this way on the configuration page - there's an extra field preserved for this purpose :) Ciao </izzy> |

Izzy, Last night I've translated the helpfiles into dutch. This evening I'll run a spell-checker on it ;-) fill in some details and upload those via cvs. What I didn't translate is the history and an error page, I guess that these would be useless to maintain or useless to translate. I deleted these files in the nl-dir so that the system can fallback to to english ones. I'll let you know when these are available. Tom |

Agree. If you look into the help/de/ directory you'll see I did almost the same - at least regarding the history. For the error page I thought it would make sense to have it translated as well (that's what I did for German), since it's somehow essential (even if I think that most users know enough English to understand that one). But that's fully up to you. > I deleted these files in the nl-dir so that the system can > fallback to to english ones. Yupp, correct. > I'll let you know when these are available. Thank you! Btw: last night I made a bunch of changes to the SQL statements - they had some problems with PostgreSQL. There's somebody testing with PostgreSQL - so maybe that database type can be added with v0.2 as well. </izzy> -- Itzchak Rehberg http://www.qumran.org/homes/izzy/ "Advance is the mother of problems." Izzy, Within the section Staff, there are actors, directors and composers. Who or what is the composer? Do you actually mean the person who has written the music or the script? Or should that be someone else? Before mentioned is what I use it for. </izzy> -- Itzchak Rehberg http://www.qumran.org/homes/izzy/ "Advance is the mother of problems." (G.K. Chesterton) |

I'm running into trouble with the cvs commands. Could you give me the right command to create and upload the help/nl directory? Hi Tom, Tom Albers wrote: > I'm running into trouble with the cvs commands. Could you give me > the right command > to create and upload the help/nl directory? Since this may not be the only prob you will encounter, and you won't be the only one here <g>, just a hint: http://www.durak.org/cvswebsites/doc/cvs.php#SEC_Top Then especially to your question: this requires multiple steps. Under Windows: x:\phpvideopro\help> cvs add nl x:\phpvideopro\help> cvs add nl\*.* x:\phpvideopro\help> cvs commit Linux <g>: izzy@zion:/cvs/phpvideopro/help> cvs add nl izzy@zion:/cvs/phpvideopro/help> cvs add nl/* izzy@zion:/cvs/phpvideopro/help> cvs commit For whatever reason, CVS won't let you add a directory and the contained files in one step, so you have to add the directory first, then the files, and finally commit. No need to commit in between the first two steps - what makes the question even harder to answer... </izzy> -- Itzchak Rehberg http://www.qumran.org/homes/izzy/ "Advance is the mother of problems." Ok. That's clear. But I don't seem to have write permissions.
