[Phpvideopro-developers] Welcome / Intro

Hi folks,

even if most of you are not connected to the list yet, they can look up 
the archives to catch up then: so I want to initiate this list by now. 
Of course I will post any changes here that are relevant to some of you, 
which is for now new language phrases and/or new help files. But 
additionally we can discuss ideas here as well as problems you may 
encounter, and what else turns out to be interesting for us :)

At some point it would be nice to know who is who and what does he do 
(oh, I'm a poet!) - everybody can start with that at convinience :) To 
get to know me, an intro is to be found at my homepage (see footer).

For me and phpVP: I started this project in February just as some idea, 
then did not work on it until June, which is to be considered the real 
starting point. The idea I have for this project is:

* Management of Videos and DVDs
   + add/change/delete entries
   + having manageable lists for movies, staff, duplicates,
     remaining space (manageable means: there should be a limit
     for how many entries per page, which is not set yet)
* Printing capabilities (not even started yet)
   + lists (well-formatted I mean)
   + labels (nice ones, not just plain text)
* User-friendlyness
   + multi lingual (that's what you do right now by providing
     language and help files)
   + individual look-and-feel (if somebody is an HTML expert
     and designer: there's only one template set for now, we
     need more :)

So far in short - looking forward to read from you and "talk" with you!
