Well, it's for a Back-End module & not phpSlash, but I don't think it
would be all that hard to bring it's functionality over to a psl block. 
It's the direction we want to take it anyways.

Are you looking for something like the form on the bottom of this page:

One of the features we've built into it is that it records the
sender/receiver's email address so that folks will get only one email
alert.

There area few other tricks in there, but check it out and let me know. 
The code's all published in the latest release v0.7.
