#4 LDAP-Error with Microsoft Active Directory

[Thomas]

When using LDAP authentication with Microsoft Active Directory (Win Server 2003 R2 in this case), the functions.php has an error in the following line:

$sr=ldap_search($ds, $ldapbase, "uid=$user", $attrs, 0, 0, 0, LDAP_DEREF_ALWAYS);

This is the corrected line:
$sr=ldap_search($ds, $ldapbase, "sAMAccountName=$user", $attrs, 0, 0, 0, LDAP_DEREF_ALWAYS);

I've attached the functions.php which works in my environment.
Maybe for a good fix it requires a parameter in config.php to define which LDAP service is used. Or to define which LDAP-Fieldname to be searched.
