This version of phpSANE supports resolution ranges. Some scanner devices report a range like 75..600dpi insted of a comma separated list of possible resolution. phpSANE is now able to handle this.

Version 0.5 of phpSANE is now compatible with modern versions of php. Big thanks to John Walsh for providing this release containing many major updates.

This version includes some improvements done by Jack Bourne, thank you.

Stefan Bernshausen made some feature enhancements to the 0.3.x-tree of phpSANE.

phpSANE now also works without register_globals

USB-Scanner auto-detection is now supported and bug #1104508 has been fixed.

In this release, the bug #1086548 has been fixed.

Since version 0.3.1 of phpSANE you can specify your scanner manually, if phpSANE does not detect it correctly.
The automatic installation should now do all necesarry things.

Since version 0.3.0 phpSANE supports OCR by using gocr.

Since version 0.2.0 phpSANE supports preview.
