So we can endup with multiple highlighted field :) implementation: * adding a class in global.css about highlighting the bg would be better than hardcoding it in the js code * I'm not sure you need to save the old background color. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Oh, we have a second option, Dalibo is ok to host a dedicated VM for PPA as well. I need to confirm, but that would means both of Robert and me would have full access to this server if needed (might be useful to have some custom admin scripts for snapshots, etc). -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hey guys, Here, we have PPA 5.0 is currently in beta2 and will be out soon or later. We hadn't a release for 2 years or so (we actually never support 8.4 officially in 4.2 branch). On the PostgreSQL side, we have a major-major release a lot of people were waiting for. Then, I am expecting (ok, well, I hope) new PPA users. At least, it would justify I keep working on it while I'm not a user myself ;) I think it's the best time to rebuild our old dusty-static-painful-to-update website. Here are the facts: - poor FAQ - poor documentation - old design/style - painful to update/admin - still under CVS (and we want to close the CVS repo) Add to this picture the demo server that is definitely time consuming to admin and I think we should be able to do something better. In my opinion, a wiki would be the best tool to rebuild our website on. Easy to update for release, FAQ and doc, theme-able, easy to admin, no need to have a CVS repo to manage the code, easy to backup, blah blah. Using the sf.net wiki is not possible, unless we want to keep their logo, theme, sponsor (?), etc. IIRC, I asked Robert about projects.pg.org, but it wasn't ok for some reasons (I think it was about a static file relaying on pgfoundry or smth). So I asked today the french admin team of pg.fr if they could host a PPA dedicated small wiki along with pg.fr (the french pg community portal is based on dokuwiki) and 3 of them are agree about that so far :) Even better, they are ready to host a demo well if needed ! Any other idea/options/opinions are welcome, but at least, we have already one good solution on our list...and I would like to sort this out before PPA 5.0 release if possible. Well, watching at other files, there is no real policy about translation
authors. So I just decided to make it this way :
/**
* Spanish language file for phpPgAdmin.
* @maintainer 2003-2006 Martín Marqués (ma...@bu...)
* @maintainer 2006-2010 xzilla
* @maintainer 2010 Miguel Useche (mig...@sk...)
*/
And anyway, I commited your translation with you as author in our
official GIT repo:
http://github.com/xzilla/phppgadmin/commit/81f580d97ff5e949b8349d199d617b49df7ee291
Thank you for your translation !
Cheers,

Hello guys, here is the PPA5's spanish.php file with all the 920 string translated to spanish. I changed some words to be more world-wide spanish (there are little variation of the spanish on each country wich spanish speakers understand but aren't common used). This file was checked with langcheck and recorded with make with no errors. PD: Please check the maintainer format, I think i shouldn't delete previous maintainer because he did the initial translation, but it wasn't updated since 3 years ago and don't know to keep his name or add mine. -- Visita http://www.skatox.com/ : Blog de Informática, Linux, Playstation 3, Windows, Software Libre, Videojuegos, Java y mucho mas.... |

Hey guys, So I finaly tested against 7.4 -> 9.0 (current cvs tree) as well, only under PHP 5.3.2. So Leonardo, you can ignore my last mail. When 7.4 and 8.0 will be officially EOLed (they > aren't yet, as both will have a last minor release, and still get > bugfixes), "no" could be a better answer. Tests are pretty easy to run. So as long as we don't have new error rising from old version AND no technical problem because of them, there's no need to remove them IMHO. Historically, PPA aimed to support as many PostgreSQL versions and PHP versions as possible. We decide to drop PHP4 to support the goPHP5 initiative that is trying to kill PHP4 definitly. PostgreSQL 7.0->7.3 are very old releases and are even not officialy considered stable by the community. Moreover, 7.0->7.2 don't support schema and we had to audit/clean all our code about them recently. That's what motivated us to drop those dinosaurs. I would rather keep 7.4 and 8.0 for another release or two or even more as long as they don't introduce technical problems and are supported in some distros. > >> BTW, who is Dave? >> > > Hmm, sorry. Hey, Hmm, the problem was in FF that found something similar to login/password form and decided to autocomplete it =). So it's better to run FF with a clean profile. Hello Guillaume, There is one reason not to support EOLed versions *officially*: we should test all PPA code on them, so it leads to an additional testing effort. Additionally, all users with old PostgreSQL versions can use old versions of PPA, can't they? So, the question is: should we test 7.4, 8.0 and 8.1? BTW, who is Dave? Hey, I've launched tests on the following versions of PostgreSQL: - 8.0.24 - 8.1.20 - 8.2.16 - 8.3.9 - 8.4.3 - 9.0beta1 PHP version is 5.2.6 (Debian Lenny).
