Category: General Group: 4.0.1 Status: Open Resolution: None >Priority: 7 Submitted By: Eric Lenio (lenio) >Assigned to: Christopher Kings-Lynne (chriskl) Summary: using the IN operator when selecting data Initial Comment: This is a low priority issue. I have a table which has a column called "username". Within that table there exists a row where username='jd'. I cannot seem to use the IN operator to select data from the SELECT page (tables.php). None of these work if I put them in the "Value" column: jd 'jd' ('jd') My best guess is that the 2nd one should work, right? Each of these cases produces an SQL error. BTW I'm using postgresql 8.0.1. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Christopher Kings-Lynne (chriskl) Date: 2005-12-23 13:06 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=82305 Yeah you're right you can't specify expression/value when doing SELECTs... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=418980&aid=1388106&group_id=37132 |
