Initial Comment: On a table named staticlists, with the following structure, browsing the data doesn't provide edit or delete buttons to edit the data, or a link to insert a new row: CREATE SEQUENCE "staticlists_idnr_seq" START 1 INCREMENT 1 MAXVALUE 9223372036854775807 MINVALUE 1 CACHE 1; CREATE TABLE "staticlists" ( "list_idnr" int8 DEFAULT nextval('"staticlists_idnr_seq"'::text) NOT NULL, "domain" varchar(200) NOT NULL, "list" varchar(50) NOT NULL, "email" varchar(200) NOT NULL ); CREATE INDEX "staticlists_domain_idx" ON "staticlists" ("domain"); CREATE INDEX "staticlists_email_idx" ON "staticlists" ("email"); CREATE INDEX "staticlists_list_idx" ON "staticlists" ("list"); INSERT INTO "staticlists" ("domain", "list", "email") VALUES('domain.com', 'list1', 'us...@do...'); INSERT INTO "staticlists" ("domain", "list", "email") VALUES('domain.com', 'employees', 'us...@do...'); ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Dan Wilson (killroyboy) Date: 2002-10-23 11:42 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=341906 This bug report has been reviewed and has been determined to not be a bug. Otherwise, it does not know how to identify the row you desire to edit. Your list_idnr should be marked as the primary key. You can do this with the Primary Key clause in your create statement. In addition, this promotes good table structure. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=418980&aid=627469&group_id=37132 |
