I would like to have something like $conf['owned_only'] = true but it would show me only the databases that contains tables that I have rights to but I'm not the owner of the database.
This requires some very heavy duty checking of privileges on every item on every table.
A possibly comprimise on 8.2 + would be to only show databases that you have a connect right to. If you don't have any connect rights, don't show the database.
