What is the current status of libraries using PhpMyLibrary? I'm working on a project to rebuild a library collection that was destroyed in a flood. I am looking at using PhpMyLibrary (PML) for my OPAC (I am using Innovative Interfaces Inc. (III) as my acquisitions tool but didn't want to spend $100,000.00 for the OPAC). I've installed everything and imported the 28,000 titles into the PML system and it seems to be working fine. I've set it up on a webhosting service that only costs around $12.00 a month and it is working like a charm!! I'm a little shaky on the process of updating records and some of the circulation features, but I'm becoming more familiar with the structure of PML. Is anyone using PML?? I really like the look-and-feel of this product and am thinking of expanding a few things that we will need locally (barcodes, check-in/check-out procedures, maybe an acquisitions module. . . ) If anyone is interested in "playing with me," contact me either on or off this list.
