We now have a fairly large database, with many similar/same first names. It would be easier to find the person being looked for if the "Select A Person" box displayed nopt only name and YOB, but also place of birth.
Can anyone tell me how to change the code so it will add place of birth, or is this even do-able?

I'm sure that it is do-able but I am not the one to be able to tell you how right now. BUT I would personally advise against it, especially since you say you have a large database. The drop down box is already sort of a strain and a hang up for large databases especially and adding more info would add quite a strain to your database and server. Of course it's your site, you do what you want but I've had hosts who have told me to chill it out a bit on the database with phpMyFamily and get errors from it about too many connections sometimes. But I believe that the guys working on version 2 are addressing the issue of the drop down list and have good things in store.
