Testing with latest (4.1.6-dev).
After creating a new database, the "New" text from the navigation frame is sorted alphabetically as if it's a database name; it should stay at the top. Additionally, it now acts like a database and can be expanded to show Events, Functions, and so on -- each of which contain a list of each database on the system. This only seems to happen after creating a new database.
Fixed with https://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin/commit/d7c357eefd905b6110ac94069b9c1873ebf01a5f
I have installed the Version 4.1.8 and the "New" Link in the left panel is sorted how a database. "New" is not on the top of the database list.
I'm unable to reproduce the problem. Can you reproduce it on our demo server (http://demo.phpmyadmin.net/STABLE/) which is running 4.1.8.
Hey,
No, unfortunately I can not. On my XAMPP server I can not reproduce it.
Only on my production server, the problem occurs.
I've downloaded again but no improvement.
Does not matter then, seems to be on the server.
Thanks!
This is strange. I am unable to reproduce the problem as well (in English or German). We will, of course, continue to monitor this bug in case others have the same problem; you could try a fresh installation to a separate directory to see if the problem continues.
