I was doing a batch update on a table (I had the wrong
name) when I got this message back.

I solved my problem, I had the name of the table bad it
was Tesis not Variables, ran the same batch and it worked.
That was a few days ago, very late in the night, so I
only saved this response and kept it for further
investigation.
Today (with more time) I tried to reproduce the same
problem, I couldn't, but I got a few strange messages
back as you will see bellow.
-----First of all I only tried to do the same query via
the query sql window and I got back the normal message
statin that th Variables Table didn't exist - OK for now.
-----Second I tried to run the original batch file and
I got back this message:

that Variables table does not exist.

MORE I just downloaded xampp 1.5.0-pl1 from xampp.org. This
is a good kit for Windows. I installed it on a XP machine,
started it, switched to spanish language, and tried your
query. No problem.

Soory for the delay, I was in a working meeting till now.
NO that is not what I did.
What I'm saying is:
With my actual installation (windows xp at home) what I did
was downloaded the PhpMyAdmin version 2.6.4-pl3 upgrading
from the PhpMyAdmin version 2.6.3-pl1.
It's the only change I made, I didn't upgrade windows, nor
MySql nor PHP.
In fact if I go back to the 2.6.3 version I don't have this
(and a few other) problems with phpmyadmin.

Do you want a solution? If yes, try xampp on your windows
machine. It contains phpMyAdmin 2.6.4-pl3 and it works.

I already ha ve a solution.
I go back to PhpMyAdmin 2.6.3-pl1 and the problem does not
arise.
Also I did download the lates PhpMyAdmin CVS tried it and
this problem does not occur with my current installation so,
whenever I have a problem I go back from versions, run it
and back to this version until the new PhoMyAdmin version is
released.
What I wanted to point out is that there is somekind of
problem which sould be solved.
I suppouse that it is corrected in the new version so I'll
wait for it.
Furthermore, I allway try to use the originals not some
bundle package like xampp which, after installation I will
have to tune up to the way in which I'm already working (as
of this moment) in 5 different computers, with no problems
except this small error (in my opinion) which does not
affect my response time atwork at all.
It's very easy to call either version of PhpMyAdmin when the
problem arises.
