#197 isssue with viewing tickets found by search

I'm running 0.6.16, the latest version. I've followed
all the instructions correctly, but I'm having the
following problem, only when one condition is true:

Normally search works fine. I can search for a ticket,
find it, click on it, and it comes up in the browser
window.

When I go into preferences and change "Show all
Deparments" to "No" instead of yes, so it prompts me to
show which department, this happens:
I search for the item, I find it. when I click on the
ticket to pull it up, I get a blank page with the
header and footer, but no ticket details come up.

When I change "Show All Tickets" back to yes, the
selection in search works fine... I'm not sure what's
going on. Please help.
