Hallo,
this was a standard problem discussed here in the past.
There are slight different solutions, but the first I think was that of
Andrew Walker. I use it, too.
Change the top of the file includes/cookie.inc.php:
// Modified by Andrew Walker (ajw...@ho...)
# $time = mktime()+$g_cookietimeout;
# $date = date("l, d-M-y H:i:s", ($time));
$date = time()+$g_cookietimeout;
