Hi,
I've noticed what appears to be a miscalculation in the reports, and wanted
to know whether anyone else has picked up the same thing.
Since October last year to the end February 2002 we've had 727 jobs logged.
In the same period of time, we've had 671 jobs recorded as closed - but if
you count by each month, there's only been 573 jobs closed. 671 is more
accurate, as we've got 53 open now (leaving 3 unaccounted for, but that's
no big deal).
What I suspect is happening is that the script only counts closed jobs
logged *and closed* in the same period of time. This would make a lot of
sense, as it would explain why the error in counting is so much larger when
stats are reported each month. I'm using 0.6.16 - which the phphelpdesk
site tells me is current. Looking through the support requests seems to
show that no-one else has reported this.
Anyone got any ideas as to what I might want to look at to fix this?
Thanks,
Alister
