I figured it out. You have to put the fully qualified domain name in the= general.conf.php file, and also make sure it is also included in /etc/h= osts. Works great now. Jeffrey M. Subject: Strange Loop When Adding = Job or Closing Ticket Hi guys, I have been running PHP He= lpdesk for almost 2 years. I have never had a problem with the program = on my old server running Redhat 6.2, Apache, and PHP. I recently= purchased a new server to replace the old Redhat Server. I install Re= dhat 9.0 and compiled the following. MySQL - 4.0.13 PHP - 4.3.= 2 Apache - 1.3.27 Mod_ssl - 2.8.14 OpenSSL - 0.9.7b Ever= ything compiled fine, so a brought over the databases from the old serve= r. I copied the helpdesk directory from my old server. I ran int= o the famous cookies problem, so I altered the cookies.inc.php. $= date =3D date()+$g_cookietimeout; This fixed my cookies problem. = Now everything works except the addjob and closejob functions. = When I create a new ticket and choose the "Add Job" button at the bottom = of the form, it just sits there with a progress bar on the bottom of IE.= If I close out of the ticket and view jobs, I can see it was created. = It just no longer takes me to the confirmation page that says the ticke= t has been submitted and an e-mail will be sent. It does send an e-mail= to the person filling out the form and another e-mail to me, so that st= ill works. When I go to close out a ticket once it has been resol= ved, it does the same thing. It goes into a loop and never takes me to= the confirmation page showing everything that was done in the ticket. = If I close out of the browser and check the helpdesk again, it indeed cl= oses the ticket and sends the user a confirmation via e-mail. Has anyon= e ever seen anything like this? Jeffrey M. West Systems= Administrator Barry University Dwayne O.
