[Phphelpdesk-help] latest release?

I have been meaning to install PhpHelpdesk for some time now but have
been putting it off. I am now ready to install and I have a few
questions:

The last release was almost a year ago and I noticed that on one of the
projects web pages that it said the software was undergoing major
revisions. Soooo my question is if I download the package now am I gonna
get hit with a major redo in a month or two?
Should I just wait for the next version?
