After checking out the latest CVS version of PHP Helpdesk, it seems that this problem has been fixed and the new version has worked on all of my PHPHelpdesk settup's. So I suppose this isn't really an issue anymore, unless more people encounter problems. Thanks for the feedback anyway, guys.
