We are looking at using this software for our Network Operations Center,
and being that I am a PHP/MySQL newbie I had a couple questions.

1. The Pop Location area in the new ticket submission. Is there a way to
add that to the database similar to the "Category" listing. (Without a
major rewrite of the database/software?) We want to administer the list of
names for the Pops being that each of the contacts we have for each
customer may call the same pop two diffrent things. :-)

2. I also wanted to see if there was a way to have e-mail sent out to a
default account "ANY"time a new ticket was entered.

3. Another question is concerning when updates are made to the tickets.
Is there a way to send notification each time a ticket is updated to keep
the customers informed of any changes. Even including when a ticket is
assigned and reassigned.

I appreceiate any and all help that you can give me! This software
rocks!!! Thanks!

If someone has set this up so it emails you and the customer
with all updates to the ticket It would be great!! I have
developed a way around the other 2 problems I have above. I
think that the update ticket should have a way to send mail
out to all partys involved when any update is made to
eliminate confusion. The only problem is is that I dont know
enough about this code to update it. I think there needs to
be antother entry made in one of the scp files in the
scripts directory. It needs to have an option like the
addjob.scp.php file does to email any updates or entrys
instead of just opening the original ticket. I like this
software and the way it is set up. I have looked at mantis
(sp) and it looked more like a sys-admin bug trakcer as we
are looking for a direct response trouble ticketing system.
