    All,
I've got phphelpdesk up and running, but would like to change a few of the variables that aren't setup to be easily changed.  I'm wondering, before I dig through the guts of this wonderful app, if someone can inform me of an "easy" way to do it.

first and foremost, I'd like to change the term "departments" to be called something else.  I really don't care if the functions themselves remain named 'department_this or department_that', I just need the html displayed to not read "department"...as in the 'home' page, in big, bold type reads "What department are you in?"  I'd like to change this to something else.

Things like that.  Are these all contained in a particular .conf, and if so, which?

    Thanks,
    andrew@scornflake.com

      Andrew,

You only need to change 2 things:
      1) Edit <root_directory>/languages/english.lang.php and change the departments to whatever you want it to say.

      2) Edit the config/loginform.conf.php and change the big text on the login form to whatever you want.  Also, feel free to remove any of those entries that will show up as links on the first login page.
