#54 Multiple Sources for each Gift

The ability to specify multiple sources for each gift would be great.

I am a long time user of yout gift registry; I first installed it in 2010. At the time it was almost perfect, with one exception: as my family members are far-flung, we don't all have access to the same stores. As such, I like to specify several different sources (both on-line and brick and mortar) for each gift, including price, URL, and note for each source. In fact, I modified the first version I pulled down to add this functionality.

I am very excited about the changes you have made since the version I am using, but ideally I don't want to have to keep patching your code in order to stay up-to-date. Thus, it would be nice if support for multiple sources was added to the main code. I have found this functionality quite useful, and believe others would as well.

It appears that I actually submitted a patch for this feature a few years ago:

If it would help get the feature added to mainline, I would be willing to create a patch for the current version.

I'll have a look at that patch and see how difficult it would be to get it
into 2.0.
