I would not be offended should you choose to remove this from SVN. I did look at the quality (did not consider the 'legality' issue) and felt they were better than none for those using it. Perhaps Daniel can improve the quality of those you identify as insufficient?

As suggested by okbigkid, I'm OK to improve quality of flags identified to need to. I've done these flags for my personnal usage, but choose to share them after having serached such stuff in vain elsewhere. Furthermore, anybody should feel free to improve and/or change some flags according to regional usages and legal issues. Please just take care of regional susceptibilities with sdome of them, because that may be an awfully trolling issue !!!
Example : traditionnal flags often contains religious or royalists symbols, which bless democrats. Moderne flags are often restricted by licensing policies (like Rhône-Alpes). If that drive to trolling issues, may I suggest eventual trollers to consider drawing and sending two or three flags sets for contenting everybody ?

Patch file has been replaced with a "ZIP" version that no longer contains flag images for French colonies. Flags for these places could never be shown on a Google map of France.
The patch has been applied to SVN version 7018. The patch file applies to all versions of PhpGedView.
To install:
Download the ZIP file and expand on your local PC. Copy the result to the server directory where PhpGedView is installed. The flags will be copied into the automatically created directory "places/FRA/flags". Don't forget to set the permissions on these flag files (644 is recommended).
