Message "Deprecated: preg_replace(): The /e modifier is deprecated, use preg_replace_callback instead in /home/seesink/public_html/includes/functions/functions_print.php on line 1430" appears all the time since about the end of july and is very inconvenient to my users at the least.

My host is "relatedfamilies.com": see my website:
http://www.seesink.relatedfamilies.com//pgvinfo.php?action=phpinfo
It is using:
The PHP Version is: PHP Version 5.6.24
System Linux newserver70.integrityserver.net 2.6.32-673.8.1.lve1.4.3.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed Feb 10 08:57:30 EST 2016 x86_64
Build Date Jul 25 2016 13:06:53

It could be that it started with their latest build of Jul 25 (see above) but I don't know.
Neither do I know if I should address PhPGedView support or should address "Related families".
Neither if I ask either party for some other version or for some suppression of the message.
Please advise.
Thanks in advance.

    Paul:
You need to upgrade PhpGedView to the most recent version 4.3.0 (the "SVN" version). This problem (not really a "bug", per se) was fixed over a year ago.

The following Help topic has instructions on how to upgrade:
    https://sourceforge.net/p/phpgedview/discussion/185166/thread/0c946e45/

In your case, since you can log into PhpGedView, you should export the database to a GEDCOM before you do the upgrade, and then import immediately after the upgrade. This is the preferred method.

The alternate method, where the export is done immediately after the upgrade, should be used only when the original installation does not work at all. You can use this method if the Export operation in your old installation produces the error message. I don't remember whether Export was one of the PhpGedView operations that produced the error.

      Dear Gerry,

Thanks you so much for your quick answer, but I failed to get in contact with the support of my host by mailing to: support@relatedfamilies.com
The mail constantly fails to arrive, see this excerpt (xxxxxxx thru xxxxxxxx) and by lack of telephone number(s) I can not contact otherwise.
      xxxxxxxxxx
      Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for
the recipient domain relatedfamilies.com by mail.relatedfamilies.com.
      [131.153.9.2].
The error that the other server returned was:
550-The mail server could not deliver mail to support@relatedfamilies.com.
The 550-account or domain may not exist, they may be blacklisted, or missing the
      550 proper dns entries.
      xxxxxxxxxx
Note: The mail address for billing matters (billing@relatedfamilies.com) with the host reacted the same when I tested it.

PLEASE CAN YOU GIVE ME SUGGESTION(S)
Do you know (someone in) that host (in Utah)? Or should I contact Google? ….
Thanks in advance for your reaction.
      Paul Seesink.

Note BELOW, the mail that I wanted to arrive at the support of my host"

      Dear Support,

I sent a bug report to the PhPGedView support team (see below) and
received following solution to implement (see below).
As the versions of PhPGedView are under your control, I suppose you will
support me with implementing version 4.3.0.

I suppose that I should do the export of the GEDCOMS as suggested below
before and the import of these after you implemented that version.
GERRY: can I do these process just by backup & restore procedure OR
should I import the different GEDCOM's one by one (as they are available in
      the backup?!?).

Please inform me what I should do and when.
      Kind regards,

    Paul:
I can't send an e-mail to your SurceForge userid. Please contact me directly at: gkroll@keldine.ca

We need to use FTP to update PhpGedView on your site ourselves. I thought we'd done that once already, about a year ago. Why did the site revert?

I think you'd be wise to find another provider.
