In the "Find Place" link the "Display all" list doesn't show! Normaly I would expect to see all places from my "Place Hierarchy" If I enter e.g. "USA", all places in the USA will show.

I'm using:

PhpGedView (Basic) 4.2.0 & Places Module

PHP Version 5.2.8
Linux infong 2.4
MySQL 5.0

MS Internet Explorer 6.0 SP2

I agree its not working, so you are right to report it as a bug, but I wonder if we still need it at all?

We now have 'autocomplete' which does the same thing, but (IMHO) better; and the Find Place always had one major problem - it displays the place in reverse order (Country, State, Town) which can confuse users.

Well, it’s not up to me to evaluate the need of it or not. I simply like to use it in order to pick places that are already listed in the database. It also helps to insure that other users edit places the same way as the rest, especially identical places. Your right about the reversed order, it is a little confusing.

Overall, I think phpGedView is wonderful, thanks and keep up the good work.

I'm with demellow here. Particularly with a large gedcom. Autocomplete isn't the panacea to all things wonderful. I think it needs repair and at the same time, reverse the order of display. That should be easy.
