agreed. which is why i was initially interested in Mambo's use of phpgacl ... then the whole
Mambo/Joomla 'thing' started happening and "i ran screaming from the room" ;-)

fair nuf.  i suppose, then, i still have options here, as well ...
... namely to either:

add phpgacl hooks to the app's section pages/headers -- e.g., the 'wrappers' to a content
category, or,

add the phpgacl hooks to my content that is called/loaded BY the wrappers.

hmmm ... gotta think about this ...

fwiw, "phpbb2"(forums) & "typo"(blog) are the primary 'target' apps that i hope to intergrate
(one way or anothher!) with the phpgacl-wrapped perm across the rest of the site.

i'd be interested to know if anyone has tackled wither of those two.
